I got sediment after cooking it for 30 minutes at 15 psi. Do I take pressure weight off immediately to cool? Is it still ok to use liquid culture if there is sediment from over cookong?

So why do i need an agar plate? I could simply buy a LC syringe from the lab and make unlimitided amounts of LC. And if my LC contaminates i could rebuy a new syringe for 15$

Lol, That is not the smartest experiment. If it was so easy, the truffles wouldn't be so expensive in the first place. You could have saved the hasstle. and money. Ha ha. FLY to italy? you can just order liquid culture for not a whole lot of money. The truffles are expensive, the you could have bought a lot of liquidculture for what those truffles cost you.

Good afternoon . What do you think about replacing petri dishes and test tubes with glass flat-walled bottles? It is essentially a hybrid of a test tube and a petri dish. The only thing that worries me is the convenience of isolating the mycelium strain in a bottle. I would like to hear your opinion.
